About the Adult Literacy Service
We run a FREE state-wide service, offering one to one tutoring and small groups to help adults improve their reading, writing and maths skills and speaking English.
Adult Literacy Coordinators and Officers work in libraries around the state to provide literacy support for adults in the community. They also support trained volunteer literacy tutors to work with learners one-to-one or in small groups.
The Adult Literacy Service is part of the 26Ten Strategy to improve adult literacy and numeracy in Tasmania. Find out more about 26Ten.
