Find a way to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people during NAIDOC Week 5–12 July 2026. This year’s theme is 50 Years of Deadly.
Fifty Years of Deadly marks a milestone. It’s a tribute to the people who built this movement. The Elders who stood firm, the organisers who made space, the artists who turned resistance into expression, and the communities who keep showing up, year after year.
Libraries Tasmania is proud to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander storytellers and stories within our collections, as we join in the celebrations for 50 Years of Deadly.
