2. Scope
This Policy addresses in-person unacceptable behaviour for people who:
- Visit a Libraries Tasmania public library, State Library and Archives of Tasmania site, Allport Museum or any other public space managed by Libraries Tasmania.
- Use Libraries Tasmania-owned resources.
- Access Libraries Tasmania programs and services delivered at an outreach.
- View and handle original records and heritage materials in the History Room, 91 Murray Street, Hobart.
This Policy addresses in-person unacceptable behaviour for people who are:
- Communication received in writing, over the phone, by email, through our online feedback form or through social media activities.
- Prisoners visiting the Ron Barwick Prison Library.
- Workplace misconduct.
- Volunteer misconduct whilst undertaking volunteer duties for Libraries Tasmania.
The term “staff” in this policy means both paid employees and volunteers.
