5.2 Emergency situations
Staff will call Triple Zero (000) if a visitor’s unacceptable behaviour:
- Poses an imminent or /immediate threat to their own safety, or the safety of others including children.
- Has resulted in a situation requiring urgent help from police, fire or ambulance.
Library staff will contact Police Assistance on 131 444 for non-emergency threats or for incidents unmanageable by library staff, such as a visitor refusing to leave if directed to do so.
