Responsible Conduct Policy

1. Purpose

The Responsible Conduct Policy supports Libraries Tasmania to maintain safe, welcoming and inclusive libraries for all visitors.

This Policy has four main aims, to:

1. Establish Libraries Tasmania’s visitor behaviour and conduct expectations.
2. Indicate the types of visitor behaviour and conduct that is considered unacceptable.
3. Set out Libraries Tasmania’s approach to dealing with unacceptable behaviour.
4. Guide staff decision-making on responding to and managing unacceptable behaviour.
