2. Scope
The Policy applies to:
- all Libraries Tasmania staff and volunteers
- programs and events provided through public libraries, the State Library of Tasmania, the Tasmanian Archives and the Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts
- programs or events delivered in a Libraries Tasmania location, off-site in other locations or online
- external providers that Libraries Tasmania engages with to deliver specific programs or events.
The following areas are outside the scope of this Policy:
- collection development, community use of facilities, displays and exhibitions and the Adult Education program
- programs and events offered by external providers who hire our meeting rooms in accordance with our meeting room conditions of use
- major events such as official openings or launch events involving the Minister or other dignitaries.
