6.4 Bans – notification
A person who has been banned will be issued with a Notice of Ban letter. The letter will include:
- A summary incident including date(s) of the behaviour that has led to the ban being issued.
- The basis on which the ban has been issued, e.g. this Policy, Libraries Regulations 2022 and/or the Archives Regulations 2014.
- The Libraries Tasmania site(s) to which the ban applies and the ban duration.
- Appeal rights and procedures.
For persons under the age of 18 years, the letter may be addressed to the parent or carer.
