Youth Week 16–23 April

Celebrating Youth Week Tasmania 2026 at Libraries Tasmania

From Thursday 16 to Thursday 23 April, libraries across the state are celebrating Youth Week Tasmania 2026 and the empowering theme Our Voice, Our Vision, Our Future.

What is Youth Week Tasmania?

YWT provides young people aged 12–25 years with a unique platform to display their talents and skills, express their views and ideas, raise issues of concern, and to actively participate in events to celebrate being a young Tasmanian. Learn more about Youth Week Tasmania on the YNOT website.

Have your say on library services

Libraries Tasmania works with young people all year round — not just during Youth Week. Through the Libraries Tasmania Youth Advisory Group, young people help shape what libraries offer. This includes creating surveys, sharing ideas and feedback, and helping us understand what matters most to young people. We also run small, relaxed workshops and create info designed by and for young people. Your voice helps make libraries better for everyone.
