Meet the team from ReThink Waste at this informal Pop Up Session. No booking required.
Exploring the impact of textile waste and practical ways to extend the life of your garments through caring, repairing, reusing, and buying second-hand.
Learn how small, everyday choices can reduce waste, save money, and support a more sustainable future. Whether you're new to sustainable fashion or looking for fresh ideas to reduce your environmental footprint, this session will provide useful tips, inspiration, and real-world strategies you can start using straight away.
Be inspired, ask questions, and discover how keeping textiles in use for longer benefits both our community and the planet.
Parking:
Ages 15-25
Ages 25-64
Age 65+
• Maximum 2 hour stay in the library car park
• Parking in Channel Court shopping complex is 3 hours maximum.
To ensure a successful event, please:
• Let us know if you can’t attend so we can give your place to someone else
• Don't attend if you are unwell
• Follow hygiene practices eg. hand sanitising
• Let us know if you have any support needs or if a support person will be coming with you.
Accessibility:
• 2 permit mobility parking spaces next to the library - 2 hour parking limits
• Level access, automatic entrance doors, wide doorways and aisles for wheelchairs
• Accessible toilet with a change table for children
• Parenting room in Channel Court shopping centre next to the library.
