Event Description
Join us for Future Tech Squad, a hands‑on technology program where you can explore a different tech topic each week through interactive activities, creative projects, and collaborative challenges. No prior experience is required.
Term 3 weekly program:
Week 1 – Gaming - Wednesday 29 July
Console and tabletop games
Week 2 – Coding basics - Wednesday 6 August
Introduction to coding concepts using Bitlink. Learn how code works through simple, interactive activities
Week 3 – Robotics & LEGO build - Wednesday 12 August
Hands‑on building and problem‑solving using LEGO and/or robotics kits
Week 4 – Virtual Reality - Wednesday 19 August
Have fun exploring and playing in immersive virtual reality experiences
Week 5 – Maker session - Wednesday 26 August
Creative build or design activity
Week 6 – Game design concepts - Wednesday 2 September
Learn how games are created, including storytelling, rules, and mechanics
Week 7 – Tech project / Free Choice - Wednesday 9 September
Work on a tech project of your choice
Week 8 – Showcase & celebration - Wednesday 16 September
Share projects and experiences, enjoy games and activities
