2.4 Fees, cancellations and refunds


Fees vary by room size and booking duration, see Meeting rooms for hire – Libraries Tasmania.

The site manager may waive hire fees when an activity closely aligns with the Libraries Tasmania’s strategic priorities, involves an agreement with the library or provides significant benefits to the wider community. Fee waivers are not available for commercial users.

Hirers must notify the library as soon as possible if their booking needs to be cancelled or rescheduled. Hire fees are generally non-refundable if cancellation notice is received less than 48 hours before the event.
