This winter school holidays, bright minds looking for programs related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) can choose from a range of activities with the Libraries Tasmania Winter School Holiday Program.
The program offers activities statewide for children of all ages, in gaming, movies, art and craft, and STEAM.
In the field of science and maths, kids aged 6–12 can enjoy science experiments with Big Bang and Lego volcanoes in the North.
Those looking for technology and engineering related activities can join:
- Gamernoons or Fun with Spheros in the North
- Virtual Reality Sessions and Lego programming activities in the North West
- Intergenerational Virtual Reality, House of Code, and Dot and Dash in the South

- Launceston Library – NAIDOC Week Storytime
- Campbell Town Library – Make Your Own Stickers
