Families looking for holiday fun can find free activities at their local library over the next two weeks.
The Libraries Tasmania autumn school holiday program offers activities statewide for children of all ages, in gaming, STEAM fun, art and craft and robotics.
“There is something for everyone, including virtual reality, outdoor gaming, and creating your own collection,” said Angela Sferco, Children and Young People Services Coordinator, Devonport Library Catchment.
Families can find activities at libraries across the north, north west, and south of Tasmania and book online.
Highlights include:
- George Town Library – Gamernoon
- Launceston Library – Meta Quest VR Headsets
- Ulverstone Library – Zentangle and Origami Boxes
- Devonport Library – Gaming in the Square
- Hobart Library – Book Launch: Secrets of the Water Meadow by Dawn Meredith
- Kingston Library – Collections Display (ongoing)
