If you’ve ever wondered who you are and where you come from, Libraries Tasmania can help you find some answers!

August is National Family History Month, and the State Library of Tasmania and Tasmanian Archives are presenting a full program of free public talks, practical workshops and behind-the-scenes tours.

Learn about family history research. Whether you’re researching your family tree, or have an interest in social history and genealogy, there’s something for both newcomers and experienced researchers.

The month-long program includes webinars to livestream at home or at library locations across Tasmania. Family history help is also available at some libraries around Tasmania – ask at your local library.
