The Writers’ Rooms have been set up to help writers and creatives work on their projects and grow Tasmanian storytelling and literature.
The rooms were established following Hobart’s designation as a UNESCO City of Literature and are available to individuals or groups who need a space for writing activities.
Writers’ Room 1 is a meeting room that seats up to 10 people and provides access to Teams.
Writers’ Room 2 seats two people.
Each room has desks, chairs, power points and free Wi-Fi.
The Writers’ Rooms sit alongside the Tasmanian Voices: the writers who make us program at the State Library and Archives of Tasmania.
It is free to book a Writers’ Room.
