Win a family pass to Space Neighbours on Uranus at Theatre Royal

This competition is run by Libraries Tasmania in conjunction with the Theatre Royal. Information on how to enter, eligibility requirements and prize details form part of these terms and conditions.

Prize

The prize consists of one family pass to see Space Neighbours on Uranus at the Theatre Royal in Hobart.

The family pass includes:

• Four tickets to Space Neighbours on Uranus.
• Performance: Thursday 8 October 2026 at 2:00 pm.
• The prize is provided by the Theatre Royal.

How to enter

To enter, participants must:

1. Like the competition post on the Libraries Tasmania Instagram page.
2. Follow @librariestasmania and @theatreroyalhobart on Instagram.
3. Comment on the competition post and tell us which Libraries Tasmania school holiday activity they would most like to attend.

Entrants may enter once only.

Competition period

The competition opens at 9:00 am on Wednesday 23 September 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm on Thursday 1 October 2026.

Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

Eligibility

Entry is open to:

• Tasmanian residents;
• Aged 16 years or older.

Employees of Libraries Tasmania are not eligible to enter.

Winner selection

Once the competition has closed one winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the competition period.

The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message on Friday 2 October 2026.

If the winner cannot be contacted within 72 hours, Libraries Tasmania reserves the right to redraw the prize.

Prize delivery

The winner’s contact details will be supplied to the Theatre Royal for the purpose of arranging ticket delivery and attendance.

Prize arrangements and ticket collection details will be provided directly by the Theatre Royal.

Publicity

The winner’s first name may be published on Libraries Tasmania’s social media channels and other communication platforms unless the winner requests otherwise.

Should the winner accept the prize, they may be invited to participate in reasonable promotional activity associated with the competition and prize.

Privacy

Libraries Tasmania collects personal information about entrants in the course of running this competition and does so in accordance with its privacy policy at Tasmanian Government Personal Information Protection (www.tas.gov.au).

General conditions

If for any reason the competition cannot be run as planned, Libraries Tasmania reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition and/or amend these terms and conditions.

Libraries Tasmania’s decision is final with respect to all matters relating to the competition and no correspondence will be entered into with respect to those decisions.

By submitting an entry to this competition, you accept these terms and conditions of entry.

You also accept these additional Theatre Royal terms and conditions as follows:

• The tickets are being provided by the Theatre Royal, Hobart, corner of Collins and Campbell Streets, Hobart, TAS, 7001.
• Details as to the redemption of the prize will be provided at the time the prize winner is notified.
• Should the prize winner decide to accept the prize they must, at the promoter’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and consent to the promoter using their name and image in promotional material (this may include inclusion on the Theatre Royal’s social media and website).

The prize or any unused portion of the prize are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken as cash.
