Discover free and exciting events at your local library in the winter school holidays!
Libraries across the state ran a variety of exciting activities involving craft, games and reading. Thanks to all the parents, grandparents and carers who brought children along to join in the holiday fun.
There were also special sessions associated with the Here on Sea Country book, exploring stories and connection to Tasmania’s Aboriginal culture. This aligned with the new Here on Sea Country exhibition that opened at the State Library and Archives of Tasmania in Nipaluna/Hobart recently. The exhibition is still up – so drop in anytime during opening hours to see it.
