Join us for Youth Meetup: Study Lab, a relaxed space where teens can connect, learn, and have fun!
Whether you need help with homework or study, want to explore our library catalogue, or just hang out and play board games, this is the perfect spot for you. We offer a mix of activities, including homework support, board gaming, and the opportunity to discover our e-resources like Studiosity, language learning tools, e-books, and more.
Each week, a volunteer or library staff will be available to assist with homework and study.
Parents/carers:
· Understand that library staff are not trained to supervise children
· Are responsible for their children participating in library events
· Are welcome to stay with their child for the event duration, otherwise must provide emergency contact details
· Must ensure their child has the maturity to participate unattended* and follow the Responsible Conduct Policy.
· Can refer to the Safeguarding Children Policy for more information
* Unattended means the child’s parent/carer is not present to provide immediate attention, guidance and safety.
