University Info Session for Adult Learners Week at Wynyard Library

2 September at 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Pop along to Wynyard Library between 3- 5pm on Monday 2 September to talk with staff from UTAS about learning opportunities.

University of Tasmania will be on site from 3pm to talk to you about Gardening, Sustainability, and Agriculture for Cradle Campus (Burnie) based and online courses.

No need to book, just turn up on the day.

FAQ – Wynyard

Will I need to print my ticket?
No, a physical ticket is not required if you have your ticket on your phone or have photo ID.

Where can I park?
There is free parking in both the Woolworths carpark off Exhibition Link and on-street parking on Saunders Street. For paid parking spots near the library the EasyPark app is available.

Are there disabled parking spots?
There are 2 signposted disabled spots directly in front of the library. You will need to display your permit to park here.

Is the library accessible for wheelchairs?
Yes. From the carpark the ground is flat straight into the building. Motorised gophers can be parked out of the front near the bike stand. There are no stairs inside the Wynyard Library and there is wheelchair access in the building and at the computers.

Are there toilets in the library?
There are no toilets inside the library, the closest public toilet is in the Woolworths carpark.

Can I feed and change my baby in the library?
There are no baby change facilities located in the library.

Are there food and drinks available in the library?
No but library visitors are welcome to bring snacks and drinks into the library as long as they are kept away from the computers.
