Search HelpRosny Library and the Clarence City Council’s Our Shared Space program are collaborating to host youth and intergenerational activities. There will be a variety of different activities including board games, video game tournaments, quizzes, and other fun activities!
In this session, we will honor International Day of People with Disabilities by engaging in activities that help us better understand some of the sensory and physical experiences faced by people with disabilities. Through art-making while blindfolded or without the use of one arm, we will explore how limitations can shape creativity and daily life. We’ll also explore sensory play with slime, engaging in a different kind of tactile experience. These activities are designed to build empathy and raise awareness, while remembering that disability is a diverse experience, and each person’s journey is unique. Let’s celebrate the resilience, strength, and richness that people with disabilities bring to our communities.
Snacks will be provided!
We ask that you please reserve a spot or call Rosny Library on 6165 6448 if you need help making a booking. If you are no longer able to make an event, please let us know so that others don’t miss out.
