With Open Library Access, you can now visit the Penguin Library between 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Whether it’s early in the morning or late at night, you can explore the shelves, study in peace, find a cozy spot to read, or borrow a book at your convenience.

Self-access is only available for Libraries Tasmania members. Please bring your library card with you.
You must be aged 16 or over to be eligible for Open Library Access. A parent or legal guardian must attend the induction with you if you are aged 16 or 17.
This session relates to to self-access at Penguin Library only.

Penguin Library is accessible for mobility impaired and wheelchair users. Entry is available from the Main Road entrance.
An accessible toilet is available.
Disabled parking bays are available outside the Main Road entrance.
