The Kingborough Repair Cafe on again in August.

Staffed by generous community volunteers, you can get support to learn new skills or fix small items.

Repairers are available for:

• Small fabric repairs and mending, e.g. hand sewing/hemming, patches, visible mending, loose or missing buttons, soft toy repair. Small machine sewing repairs. Please note this is not an alteration service.
• Woodwork repairs: picture frames, small furniture items, e.g. chairs, sidetables.
• Jewellery repairs, small items, fixing clasps, replacing earring loops etc
• Plant saving tips and techniques
• **NEW Basket repairs

Please bring:

• One item for repair, you will work alongside your repairer.
• Curiosity and the willingness to observe and learn new skills.
• Any useful items to assist your repair.

Tea and coffee provided.

IMPORTANT – HOW TO GET THERE
The Repair Cafe is being held in our C Block building, in the Learning Centre, 8 Hutchins Street. Parking available off Church Street. This is ACROSS the road from our main Library building.

We look forward to welcoming you. The Cafe will run from 2 – 4pm.
