Follow Xander McAuslan and Vietnam veteran Lorenzo from Tasmania to Vietnam as they unravel long-buried secrets, investigate crimes past and present, and become the unsuspecting targets of a deadly assassin.

Disgraced journalist Xander McAuslan and his Vietnam veteran and erstwhile cave-dwelling survivalist mate Lorenzo are in grave danger – a situation exacerbated by the fact that they have no idea their recent past is about to catch up with them. In the sleepy Tasmanian village of Mole Creek, Xander and Lorenzo accidentally thwarted a murderous attempt to cover up the existence of a Russian ‘sleeper’ agent who was ready to be activated to devastating effect. And now, in retribution, a ruthless assassin has been sent to kill them as slowly and painfully as possible.

Add into the mix an ambitious and sexy true crime podcaster and the savvy and sassy teenage daughter of the Vietnam veteran, and the story swings from Mole Creek to Sydney, Saigon and back to Tasmania as it hurtles toward its deadly conclusion.

Accessibility:

· The multi-level car park (corner of Best Street and Fenton Way) provides disabled access parking, lift access and flat walking surfaces between the car park and the paranaple centre. Council parking fees apply.

· Entrance to the paranaple centre is via automatic doors at both Market Square and Rooke Street entrances. The Market Square entrance offers universal access and is available at the touch of a button, providing ease for patrons with access difficulties.

· Inside the paranaple centre, Devonport Library is located on both ground and first floors. Escalators, lifts and stairs are available to take you between the two floors. A parent and child room is situated on the ground floor and accessible toilets are available on all floors.
