An interactive and engaging presentation of Antarctic and Southern Ocean science that incorporate demonstrations, activities, and a snow tent. The Mobile Antarctic Classroom (MAC) is on tour around Tasmania helping school-aged audiences foster an interest and understanding in Antarctic and Southern Ocean science.
The Mobile Antarctic Classroom is on tour before the Australian Antarctic Festival (22 – 25 August) in nipaluna/Hobart, presented by the Mawson’s Huts Foundation.
This event is supported by Events Tasmania.
We encourage you to book a ticket to one of the two sessions offered.
Attendees are free to can come and go as they please within their thirty minute time-slot.
Session 1: 3.00pm – 3.30pm
Session 2: 3.30pm – 4.00pm
