In 2015, the year of the 50th anniversary of the Allport Bequest, a steering committee set about establishing a Friends of the Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts (FOTA) in order to: better inform the public about Allport, and to generate more interest in the collection; to advocate the value of this heritage as widely as possible; and to present events and activities for members to encourage information sharing and knowledge of the collection and relevant heritage.

If you would like to become a friend, you will receive electronic newsletters on a seasonal basis along with invitations to three or four events a year. Just send an email with your name, email & postal address (phone optional) along with your subscription preference. Alternatively you can leave your details at the Allport Library desk or send by post.

Subscriptions for a financial year are:
