Join a performance created in collaboration with Glenorchy City Council and Tasmanian hip-hop artist Grace Chia, supported by Libraries Tasmania.
Artist Grace Chia led literacy-based workshops for two schools in the Glenorchy area together with Youth Engagement Officer at Glenorchy City Council, Joel Imber, and rapper Hayden.
The Art of Storytelling workshops inspired students to be creative and write from their imagination.
Students from Rosetta Primary School and Windermere Primary School will perform raps, poems, and short stories at Glenorchy Library. The students also made zines in the workshops, and these will be on display.
