Where will you be on Wednesday 24 May at 11:00 am? A speedy sloth has plans for you.

Across the nation millions of people will be reading the same book at the same time as part of National Simultaneous Storytime. Why not join them?

This year all eyes will be on The Speedy Sloth, by award-winning Australian creators Rebecca Young and Heath McKenzie.

The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) runs National Simultaneous Storytime as a fun and vibrant annual event. National Simultaneous Storytime aims to promote the value of reading and literacy. Each year people take part from across the country, at libraries, schools, family homes, bookshops – all reading the same Australian-authored and illustrated book.
