“Libraries across Tasmania are places where imagination grows, curiosity is encouraged, and a lifelong love of reading begins. This year, we’re proud to celebrate 80 years of Book Week – a special milestone that honours the stories and storytellers who shape young minds.
We invite families to visit their local library, join in the celebrations, and discover the joy of reading together. A heartfelt thanks to the Children’s Book Council of Australia for their continued support of Australian authors, illustrators, and readers,” said Mary Brooke, Children and Young People Services Coordinator, Libraries Tasmania.
