3.9 Induction and training
All volunteers must receive a formal induction to Libraries Tasmania and complete the following mandatory training:
Work Health and Safety
Resources are provided by Volunteer Services and can be found on the Volunteer Management intranet page.
Safeguarding Training Modules
Safeguarding training details how volunteers are to meet their legislative and departmental obligations for keeping children and young people safe.
Critical Incident and Emergency Procedures
Volunteers must be made aware of and understand local business unit policy and procedures managing critical incidents and emergencies, such as fire, evacuation, lock down, first aid.
