Search HelpFancy a treasure hunt? Geocaching is a treasure hunt using a GPS enabled device to find a geocache near your home, city, the bush, anywhere in the world! Suitable for any age.
During this session we’ll give you an introduction to geocaching and help you get started. Geocaching is a worldwide activity, there are literally thousands of geocaches to find. Geocaches come in all shapes and sizes too. You can find a tiny little one as small as your fingernail, or a huge geocache with exciting ‘treasures’ inside. It can be as easy or as hard as you like to make it. You can drive up to your geocache and spot it from the car, or you can choose to hike for miles up and down mountains in the snow in search of that elusive container.
This program is suitable for all ages.
