Search Helpoin us for a special Cultural Craft session hosted by Local Elder Aunty Gloria on Thursday, 5 September, from 10:30am to 12:30pm during Adult Learners Week.
Aunty Gloria will guide participants through the traditional process of stringing bush grass to make twine. With this twine, you can create your choice of a basket, necklace, or anklet. She will also provide all the necessary equipment and share insights about where to find these grasses and their rarity and significance.
Additionally, Aunty Gloria will bring a selection of shells and other items to discuss their importance to the local community. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn about and connect with local cultural practices.
