Volunteering morning tea at Glenorchy Library

Event Description

There are currently volunteering vacancies at Glenorchy Library and other Libraries in the Southern Region. These include digital support, literacy support including english conversation, social inclusion groups, and more!

We would love the opportunity to meet you and tell you about all the wonderful ways you can be involved.

Please note, all Libraries Tasmania volunteers require Working with Vulnerable People cards and are need to undertake the DECYP Child safeguarding training. All will be explained at the session!

Parking:

• Library parking – Corner of Terry Street and Barry Street – Maximum 2-hour parking

• Glenorchy City Council Carpark off Barry Street - Maximum 2-hour parking
• Free on weekends

To ensure a successful event, please:

• Let us know if you can’t attend so we can give your place to someone else

• Let us know if you have any support needs or if a support person will be coming with you.

Accessibility:

• 2 permit mobility parking spaces in Glenorchy City Council Carpark - 2-hour parking limits

• Level access, automatic entrance doors, wide doorways and aisles for wheelchairs

• Accessible toilet and parenting room available
