Car Park – Youth ARC Dark Carpark
Six of Hobart’s best young creatives respond to the State Library and Archives collections through installation, sound and performance.
Ground Floor – Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts
Costume comes to life in the Fancy Dress: from Tutus to Cosplay exhibition with award-winning cosplayers and the Tasmanian Time Travellers. Well known and infamous identities from Tasmania’s past tell their own stories with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
Level 1 – Hobart Library Let Me Tell You a Story
Gather around the campfires and soak up enchanting tales from multi-talented storytellers in Let me tell you a story…(includes Auslan interpretation).
Level 2 – State Library of Tasmania
Prepare for serious rock nostalgia with hidden gems from Hobart’s 70s and 80s music scene in Beats and Bands from the Archives; discover the unique garments and colourful characters of Tasmania’s clothing and textile manufacturers in the Duck Trousers, Straw Bonnets, and Bluey exhibition; feel the chill of Antarctic expeditions with the National Archives of Australia.
