Thank you to our volunteers
Libraries Tasmania is celebrating National Volunteer Week from 15 to 21 May 2023, acknowledging the integral role volunteers have across libraries and archives.
Volunteers are providing support daily to library members across many services, including adult literacy tutoring, digital literacy support, English conversation, home library couriers, and the State Library and Archives Service.
There will be several events around the state to thank volunteers for their commitment, wonderful contribution, and for giving their time so generously.
Libraries Tasmania strives to ensure volunteers represent the diverse community in Lutruwita/Tasmania and acknowledges the varied cultures and diverse backgrounds of volunteers, and the valuable experience they bring to the organisation.
