Search HelpThe building at 91 Murray Street will be closed during the day of Saturday 17 June to prepare for Stories After Dark. The Hobart Library, State Library and Archives Reading Room and History Room, and the Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts will all be closed to the public until 5pm when Stories After Dark begins.
Stories After Dark is a free, all ages event where you can unearth the mysteries of Lutruwita/Tasmania’s past – and beyond when the lights go out in Hobart’s iconic State Library and Archives Building.
Records, artefacts and collections come to life in one mesmerising night filled with sound, art, light, storytelling and performance.
Saturday 17 June from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the State Library and Archives Building, 91 Murray Street, Nipaluna/Hobart.
