John Williamson: ‘Uncle Bill’: An assessment of E.A. Wilson and the Discovery Expedition to Antarctica – Friends of the Allport Talk

John is a teacher and lecturer who specialises in topics that focus on Polar History, Art and Exploration. He has worked as a tour guide in Antarctica, has lectured on Antarctic History at the University’s Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies, lectures nationally for ADFAS on Antarctic and Exploration Art and is the co-writer of the State Government’s Polar Pathways – an annotated map of Hobart’s Antarctic Sites.
