The Man in the Hat (Ciarán Hinds) departs Marseille in a Fiat 500 with a framed photo of an unknown woman, pursued by five bald men in a 2CV. As he travels north, he meets various characters, including razeteurs and captivating women, while enjoying delicious food. Winding through France’s mountains, he experiences the eccentricities of the country.
