The Big Summer Read is back in December!
Go on a reading adventure this summer and be part of reading fun for young people up to 18 years.
Keep up your reading over the holidays while having fun with book lovers across Tasmania and other states. Read books, write reviews, try cool reading challenges and win prizes.
Last year, an incredible 1,325 young readers signed up for the online challenge with Libraries Tasmania, sharing a whopping 6,123 book reviews.
Join the Big Summer Read from 1 December to 31 January.
Registration is free and opens on 1 December 2025.
